Our case was managed by Michael Bennison and Susan Jarrett who were very organised and followed up with us, our estate agents and solicitors to keep track of the status of our purchase (which turned out to be over a year long process due to the pandemic). Once we received an appropriate mortgage offer from a lender that was on our conveyancer's panel, they then offered us free mortgage protection advice. We dealt with Milan Tailor for mortgage protection (life insurance, income protection and critical illness cover). He was extremely knowledgable in this field and gave us all the options we required at this stage in our lives. I highly recommend taking out mortgage protection via BB, as they are highly reputed and have a trusted panel of insurers (and can get preferable rates - which I verified as I also got quotes from MoneySupermarket and other comparison sites), and by going through BB, we got personalised cover with the lowest price on the market (as far as I could tell anyway). Cannot recommend a mortgage broker enough, really made us feel like they cared and knew us, rather than a paycheck.

Chris and Bobbie at Bennison Brown were brilliant from start to finish. Helpful, explained everything really well, got us a great mortgage offer and were always available and highly professional. The company also has a great policy on not charging extortionate fees, like some brokers do! will definitely use them again to remortgage in a few years time.

As first time buyers, Bennison Brown have been a great help in getting us through the process. Allan made us confident that we had the best mortgage deal, while also showing us some comparisons with other unique options that could also suit our particular case. He also put us in touch with a tax advisor that (in the end) saved us an enormous amount on SDLT. I initially came across Bennison Brown at the First Time Buyer Home Show, where I met Andrew and Michael, where Andrew gave a presentation in relation to how best to prepare ahead of applying for a mortgage. Following on from the talk, I had a good chat with both of them where they provided some advice for myself as a FTB. We arranged a follow-up call, where we discussed what I was looking for, my personal details, and what I could afford, and made some suggestions. I found them to be very transparent with the steps in their process and fees, which drove my decision to proceed with them as my mortgage broker. I found the whole process a lot smoother than expected.
